WASHINGTON PARK— A man was shot dead during an argument in Washington Park in front of a liquor store Saturday, police said.

At 12:20 a.m., a 30-year-old man was shot dead during an argument in the 5500 block of South State Street, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man, who was shot in the chest, was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Estrada said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Officer identified the man as Semial Sigle, of the 1800 block of South Wolcott Avenue.
