CHICAGO — The world's top female eater is ready to down ribs.

Miki Sudo, the No. 1 female competitive eater on Earth, is one of the contestants in June 10's RibMania VII, which is part of Ribfest Chicago XVIII. The winner of RibMania VII will receive $4,000.

The competition begins at 6 p.m. at the Chicago Reader Stage, 4185 N. Lincoln Ave.

Sudo won titles in 2013 and 2014, eating nearly five pounds of ribs during the eight-minute competition. Michelle Lesco prevailed last year and is set to defend her crown in June.
