EDGEWATER — The massive, community-wide annual Edgewater Yard Sale is revving up for its 22nd year, and setting its sights on helping out 12 neighborhood non-profits along the way.

The event will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. June 4 and include locations between Foster and Devon Avenues, and Clark Street and Sheridan Road.

In the past, relics from the city's past, like old maps and postcards, have been found at sellers' tables for cheap.

In addition to the more than 200 households expected to participate, businesses along North Broadway at Devon, Granville, Thorndale, Bryn Mawr and Berwyn will hold sidewalk sales — including health and fitness stores, theater companies and antique shops.

The sale will also feature its largest number of non-profit organizations yet, including Care For Real food pantry, which will also receive donations from sellers in local block clubs.

Tables will also be set up for members of the Rogers Park Police District CAPS office, as well as the Berger Park Advisory Council and at least five neighborhood school and religious institutions.

Other activities planned by non-profits include:

• Handmade Totebags: Sold by Check Your Ability, an organization that works with people who have disabilities.

• Petting Zoo: Chicago Friends School will offer a petting zoo from 1-3 p.m. and sell homemade bakery goods at 1246 W. Thorndale Ave. to benefit Heartland Alliance's refugee services.

• Rummage Sale: Swift School Parents Advisory Council will hold a rummage sale in the school cafeteria throughout the day.

• Parade: At 1:30 p.m., Pivot Arts will hold a parade on Winthrop Avenue, between Thorndale and Ardmore, with a performance on the Swift Elementary playground from 2-3:30 p.m..

• Hot Dogs: St. Gertrude’s youth group will sell hot dogs and chips from 1-3 p.m. to raise money for an annual mission trip.

Sellers can register through May 29 for $10 by emailing edgewateryardsale@gmail.com.

Sellers without a yard or garage will be able to take part in the sale by setting up in the Barr Funeral Home parking lot, 1228 W. Granville Ave., a parking lot at 6044 N. Winthrop Ave., the Church of Atonement, 5749 N. Kenmore Ave. and Swift Elementary, 5900 Winthrop Ave.
