EDGEWATER — The new Edgewater Whole Foods will be among more than 200 vendors at what is expected to be the largest annual garage sale the neighborhood has seen yet, organizers said.

On Saturday, June 6, residents will join 13 area businesses, local schools and churches, representatives from the Rogers Park Park Police District and more in festivities around the neighborhood between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

In its 21st year, the annual sale sponsored by block clubs and neighborhood groups had to be expanded due to a "record breaking" number of participants, including adding venues and sale sites for those who may not have sidewalk or garage space, organizers said.

Between Broadway and Sheridan boundaries are expanded to include area between Granville and Foster. In the area to the west, between Broadway and Clark, Ridge and Devon will be the new cut off lines.

First-time participants, the Chicago Friends School, 6044 N. Magnolia Ave. also will have a petting zoo from 1-3 p.m.
