RAVENSWOOD MANOR — Sunday's annual community-wide garage sale in Ravenswood Manor is like the Super Bowl for bargain hunters.
This year, thrifters are doubly blessed with a massive sale in Irving Park set for Saturday.
Here are the details on the weekend's treasure hunts:
Saturday
The folks of West Walker, Independence Park and the Greater Independence Park Neighborhood Association have combined their separate annual events into one super-sized sale. Maps are available at participating homes.
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Greater Independence Park, boundaries are Irving Park Road to Addison and Central Park to Pulaski.
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., West Walker, boundaries are Irving Park Road to Montrose and Central Park to Pulaski.
• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Independence Park, around the park, 3945 N. Springfield Ave.
Sunday
More than 100 homes are participating in Ravenswood Manor's sale, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Boundaries are Lawrence to Montrose and the Chicago River to Sacramento.
