Here's What The Revamped Alinea, Which Is Reopening Soon, Looks Like Now

By Mina Bloom | May 9, 2016 5:41am

LINCOLN PARK — Alinea, which consistently tops lists of the world's best restaurants, is gearing up to reopen after months of renovations.

A representative for the restaurant, 1723 N. Halsted St., said the team is planing to reopen "very soon," but declined to give a specific date. The new menu and prices are also a mystery for now.

The three-Michelin star restaurant has been closed for renovations since January, but that didn't stop the team from winning awards.

Last week, Chef Grant Achatz accepted the 2016 James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant. Alinea was also recently named the best restaurant in the world by Elite Traveler for the fifth time.
