South Loop Man Charged With Murder In Fatal Logan Square Shooting: Police

CHICAGO — A South Loop man has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Robert Roseneau, police said.

At 10:31 p.m. Monday, Roseneau was shot dead in the 2000 block of North Pulaski Road in Hermosa, police said. Officers on patrol in the area heard gunshots and saw Raul Martinez, 24, of the 1400 block of South Canal Street, run and drop a gun, police said.

Officers chased Martinez and arrested him in the 4000 block of West Armitage, police said.  The South Loop man faces a first-degree murder charge.
