CHICAGO — Shootings left six people wounded between Wednesday and Thursday, police said.

• Most recently, at 1:23 a.m. Thursday, a 26-year-old woman was shot in Chicago Lawn, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The woman was a passenger in a car in the 3000 block of West 60th Street when someone fired shots at the car.

The woman was shot in her back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, Amezaga said. Her condition was not released but she was listed as "stable."

• At 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, a 20-year-old man was shot while walking out of a business in West Humboldt Park, Amezaga said.

• At 6:10 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot while walking in Englewood, Amezaga said.

• At 6 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in South Austin, Amezaga said. The man was walking in the 5700 block of Augusta Boulevard when someone got out of a car, fired shots at the man and then got back in the car and drove off.

The man was taken to Loyola Hospital in serious condition, Amezaga said.

Someone was being questioned in that shooting, police said.

• At 4 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in East Side, Amezaga said. The man was in the 10400 block of South Avenue G when he was shot in his leg.

The man was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

The shooting might have been self-inflicted, police said.

• At 1:30 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Brighton Park, Amezaga said. The man was in a car in the 3900 block of South Archer Avenue when he was shot.

The bullet went through the man's left thigh, Amezaga said. He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital and transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable."

No one was in custody in these shootings unless otherwise mentioned.
