WICKER PARK — Insomnia Cookies' third Chicago spot opens Tuesday on Milwaukee Avenue in the former iCream and will offer coupons for free cookies through May 2, officials said.
Located at 1537 N. Milwaukee Ave., just south of Wicker Park's Milwaukee, Damen and North avenues intersection, Insomnia Cookies has several varieties of cookies, as well as brownies, cookie sandwiches and cold milk. And the store delivers warm cookies to doorsteps until 3 a.m.
The Wicker Park menu offers ice cream sundaes and ice cream by the pint and quart.
Pickup/carry-out hours are 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. daily; delivery starts at noon. The minimum order for delivery is $6.
Insomnia Cookies will give a free cookie to all customers presenting a coupon in the store between April 26 and 3 a.m. May 3. For a free cookie coupon, visit Insomnia Cookies’ Facebook page.
The city's two other Insomnia Cookies are in Lincoln Park, at 2260 N. Lincoln Ave., and Rogers Park, at 6470 N. Sheridan Ave. The Wicker Park location, which has added 15 to 20 new jobs, marks the growing chain's 87th spot, a spokeswoman said.
Insomnia Cookies has corporate offices in New York City and Philadelphia.
