GRANT PARK — The Roots, Billy Idol and The Decemberists are among the headliners playing this year's Taste of Chicago in Grant Park.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for seats in the Petrillo Music Shell, 235 S. Columbus Drive, during the annual food festival running from July 6-10 this year.
Here is the Taste of Chicago lineup:
5:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 6: The Roots with opener Donnie Trumpet. General seats are $23 and VIP tickets are $50.
5 p.m., Thursday, July 7: KONGOS with openers Elle King and Transviolet. General seats are $15 and VIP tickets are $32.
5:30 p.m., Friday, July 8: The Decemberists with opener Elle King. General seats are $23 and VIP tickets are $50.
4:30 p.m., Saturday, July 9: Billy Idol with opener Sons of the Silent Age. General seats are $23 and VIP tickets are $50.
4:30 p.m., Sunday, July 10: The Isley Brothers with opener Sheila E. General seats are $23 and VIP tickets are $50.
This year's Taste will run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission and seats on the lawn are free.
