CHICAGO — Jake Arrieta threw a no-hitter for the Cubs Thursday night — but it's a fan who's getting attention.

Dylan Cressy, of Indiana, sprinted onto the field in Cincinnati and joined the Cubs' celebration after Arrieta's no-hitter. He managed to get into the huddle and wrap his arms around a few players before police pulled him off the field.

Another video shows Cressy, who wore a Cubs hat and shirt, leaping over a barricade to get to the field:

Cressy, 22, was charged with criminal trespass after the incident, according to the Hamilton County, Ohio, Sheriff's Office. He will appear in court Friday.

The Indiana man appears to be a Cubs superfan: His social media profiles are filled with the Cubs logo and team videos and posts, as well as photos showing him wearing a Cubs hat and posing with friends at Wrigley Field.

Even Cressy's family is getting in on the excitement: His dad, Michael, posted on Facebook about being excited for Arrieta — and shortly afterward posted that he was proud of his son for making a memory.

Michael's Facebook page contains photos of him and Dylan at Wrigley Field and shots of Dylan in Cubs gear.

Cressy's online fans already have described him as "legendary" and a "hero." Here's some of the reaction:
