LINCOLN PARK — Wedding season is upon us, which might require some shopping.

It's convenient then that The Black Tux, a trendy online tuxedo and suit rental company, recently opened its first brick and mortar showroom inside The Tie Bar, 918 W. Armitage Ave., effectively making the Lincoln Park store a one-stop shop for fancy men's attire.

In the showroom, customers will be able to try on The Black Tux's rental collection, including suiting, shirts and shoes, before the items are shipped to their homes.

The Black Tux was designed to "disrupt the antiquated men's tux/suit industry," according to a news release.

“We’re huge fans of The Black Tux and think they are the perfect apparel counterpart to The Tie Bar; bringing our brands together in time for wedding season was a no brainer,” said Allyson Wicha Lewis, vice president of merchandising for The Tie Bar, in a prepared statement.
