CHICAGO — Wicker Park's Big Star has dropped its cash-only policy.

The famous taco joint and bar will now accept credit cards, said spokeswoman Jenna Liberman.

The change comes amid customer demand, partner Terry Alexander told Eater, which first reported the change.

"We have decided to accept credit cards because 1. it's what our guests want; 2. we need to continue to move forward just as the neighborhood has; and 3. technology has advanced," Alexander wrote in an email to Eater.

The change comes as warm weather demand for Big Star's spacious patio swells. This weekend, people lined up on Damen Avenue at 10:45 a.m. hoping to snag a seat at the always-packed taco spot.

Don't worry about hitting up the ATM, we're officially accepting credit cards today. 💸
