Sci-Fi Writers, Get Time Travel Right With Help From U. of C. Prof

HYDE PARK — It’s time for writers to start getting time travel right and a University of Chicago professor is ready to explain how to do it.

Mathematics professor Danny Calegari will explain how time travel, worm holes, the fourth dimension and other topics for science fiction and fantasy writers at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the 57th Street Books, 1301 E. 57th St.

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators is sponsoring the event as a way for writers to access experts on frequently themes in the science fiction and fantasy genre.

The event is free and open to the public.
