CALUMET HEIGHTS — A 35-year-old woman was found shot to death inside a home on the South Side on Tuesday evening, police said.

Around 7:30 p.m., police found the woman with multiple gunshot wounds inside a home in the 1700 block of East 85th Place, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene, Sedevic said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the woman as Babette Miller, of the same block.

Police said they believe the shooting was "domestic-related."

A homicide investigation is underway, Sedevic said.
