WICKER PARK —  It's the first weekend of spring as well as Easter on Sunday, and if you're wondering whether anything cool is happening around town — the answer is yes.

Here are 7 ideas for things to do for those of us sticking around for the holiday. If we missed your event, please add it as a comment on Neighborhood Square or send us an email.

Friday Night Easter Cooking Lessons:  The Kids' Table Easter Celebration will teach natural egg dyeing and how to prepare egg salad sandwiches and decorate sugar cookies. Tuition is $40 for nonmembers, $36 for regulars. Ages 4 and up. From 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, 2337 W. North Ave

Shop at 15 Boutiques in One Spot: The Wicker Collective is again banding together for a massive warehouse sale.  Study Hall, Penelope's, Moon Voyage, Kokorokoko and more shops are on board, according to the event's Facebook page.  Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Chop Shop, 2033 W. North Ave.

Score Rock Posters on the CheapSideshow Gallery's poster sale spotlights rock posters and art prints that start at $5 and are "priced to sell, cash and carry," organizers say.  The Saturday sale, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., will be preceded by a Friday night preview party from 6 to 11 p.m., with complimentary drinks, snacks and music. Sideshow Gallery, 2219 N. Western Ave.

Sing Your Heart Out:  New eatery B.Bim offers Korean-inspired noraebang karaoke on Fridays along with happy hour specials with half-off all well drinks from 9 to 11 p.m. Friday. B. Bim Asian Eatery, 1324 N. Milwaukee Ave.

Get Briefed on Bucktown.  The guided Bizarre Bucktown walking tour takes adventurers to some of Bucktown's most prominent and allegedly haunted homes, while weaving local history and tales of fascinating local characters into the experience led by local author Gordon Meyer. Saturday's "preseason" tour runs from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tickets, which are $15, can be bought here.

Spend Easter Sunday in a Bath House: Red Square, a Russian-style bath house, will be open all day Sunday for those seeking some peace and renewal. Enjoy gender-specific or coed saunas, massages and a cafe and restaurant. Cost is $30 for a day pass. Slippers, robes and towels are provided; swimsuits are required for the coed area. Red Square, 1914 W. Division St. Hours are 7 a.m. to midnight. Sunday.

Embrace Your Inner Bookworm.  Volumes Bookcafe quietly opened on Tuesday and will be rolling out its beer and wine sales this weekend in a cozy shop that has 35 seats for those who want to stick around.  A Kindle user? Adult coloring books are hard to replicate in digital form, plus Volumes sells coffee mugs, candles and other gifts for readers. Hours are 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
