UPTOWN — Construction on the Argyle Streetscape project will officially resume Monday.

From Sheridan Road to Kenmore Avenue, all sidewalks, curbs and gutters will be removed from the South Side of the street. Parking restrictions will be in place from 7 a.m.-4 p.m., said Ald. Harry Osterman (48th) in his weekly newsletter.

Traffic will remain one-way eastbound throughout the completion of the project. This stage of construction will take about four weeks, Osterman said.

Construction meetings open to the public will be held from 9-9:30 a.m. every Tuesday at the construction office at 4956 N. Sheridan Road.

The project's anticipated completion date is July 15, 2016.
