LINCOLN PARK — Celebrity cook and TV host Rachael Ray is bringing her long-running South By Southwest music and food festival to Chicago this summer, it was announced Friday.

The festival, dubbed "Rachael Ray's Feedback," is set for June 25 at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2001 N. Clark St.

There will be food made by Ray, beer, wine and cocktails and live music. Grace Potter and Lee Fields & The Expressions are scheduled to headline. Additional local artists have yet to be announced.

Unlike in Austin, Tex., where she hosted the festival for the last nine years, the Chicago festival will not be free. Tickets range from $49.50 to $299, depending on the package, and can be bought online.

Ray chose Chicago because she has a lot of fans in the area, according to the Wall Street Journal.

“Once the crowds [at SXSW] started getting enormous, that’s when we got serious about the idea of taking it on the road," Ray told the paper.

Ray is best known for her popular Food Network show, which led her to launch cookbooks, a cookware line and a magazine.
