Where to Enjoy March Madness or St. Paddy's Day in Uptown and Andersonville

UPTOWN — Looking for ways to enjoy March Madness or St. Patrick's Day and don't want to leave the neighborhood?

Fret not, here's a list of places to enjoy the game or grab some green beer:

Fat Cats: Get the best of both worlds at Fat Cat, where you can watch NCAA games, drink Great Lakes Conway's Irish Red ($5) and grab Fat Cat's Corned Beef and Cabbage ($14). Tullamore Dew shots are also $5. The restaurant will open at 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. 4840 N. Broadway.

Crew Bar and Grill: Crew will open at 11 a.m. for March Madness Thursday and Friday. Thursday, Crew will be serving Corned Beef Hash, drafts of green beer ($4), bottles of Lagunitas ($4) and Guinness Beer Cheese Dip ($5). The brewers from Lagunitas will also be there Thursday with games and giveaways. Lagunitas drafts are $5 all month long. 4804 N. Broadway.

Lady Gregory's: Lady Gregory's promises "the craic will be mighty" as it celebrates St. Paddy's Thursday with authentic Irish food, face painting and traditional Irish music. 5260 N. Clark St. Opens at 11 a.m.

Replay Andersonville: Replay Andersonville has spiced up its menu for St. Paddy's day. The special menu features: Traditional Irish Corned Beef Sandwich for $14, Shepherd's Pie Burger for $14, Chicken Curry for $13 and Corned Beef and Cabbage for $15. The restaurant also features a beer, burger and basketball combo for $12 until March 27. 5358 N. Clark St. 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 a.m.

Yoga, Shopping and Wine: For those looking to counteract their booze with a little fitness, Primary CrossFit has the party for you. The gym will be hosting an evening of free yoga clinics paired with retail therapy, music, wine and snacks. From 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. 5050 N. Sheridan Road.
