OLD TOWN — Catherine Cook School is seeking volunteers to serve as judges for the school's upcoming history fair.

The annual middle school history fair is set for March 22 at the Old Town school, 226 W. Schiller St., from 8 a.m.-noon. This year's theme is "Exploration, Encounter and Exchange."

Judges will work in pairs to evaluate each history fair project and interview students, according to Ald. Brian Hopkins' 2nd Ward office.

The private school is looking for people who want to "listen to and talk sincerely with young people about their work," Hopkins' office said in an email. Extensive historical knowledge is not required.

Those who are interested are encouraged to contact Jessica at jmajors@ccookschool.org.
