OLD TOWN — Steak Bar, a collaboration between prolific restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff's Hogsalt Hospitality and Four Corners Tavern Group, is set to open on Wells Street in early April, the team behind the restaurant announced Tuesday afternoon.

Living up to its name, Steak Bar, 1500 N. Wells St., will specialize in steak, offering classic dishes with a modern twist like chicken fried steak with garlic gravy and thyme. There will also be a full drink menu with a similar vibe (Fireball old fashioned, anyone?).

Come nighttime, the bar will feature live entertainment, according to a news release.

Steak Bar marks the first collaboration for the two restaurant groups.

Sodikoff has built a trendy restaurant empire with eateries like Au Cheval, Green Street Smoked Meats and 3 Arts Club Cafe. Four Corners has also seen success. The restaurant group runs Ranalli's, Benchmark and Gaslight, to name a few.
