
HYDE PARK — Woodlawn neighbors will come together Saturday for the seventh year in a row to plan the neighborhood's future.
The 7th annual Woodlawn Summit starts at 8 a.m. Saturday at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, 969 E. 60th St.
Lori Lightfoot, president of the Chicago Police Board, will give the keynote address at 9 a.m. before the summit breaks into smaller workshops on safety, economic development and other topics.
Free breakfast will be served and the Professional Theatre and Dance Youth Academy and other neighborhood youth groups will perform.
The event is free and open to the public.
