LINCOLN SQUARE — Fleet Feet's 3.14-mile Pi Day run may be a smidge longer than the usual 5K, but runners will be compensated for the extra length — with pie at the finish line.

The Pi-K run kicks off at 6:28 p.m. Monday (that's two times pi for the mathematically challenged) from Fleet Feet's Lincoln Square, Old Town and South Loop locations.

Participation is limited — 314 runners at Old Town and 157 each at Lincoln Square and South Loop.

Registration is required by 5 p.m. Sunday (click here) — no walk-ups or day-of sign-ups will be accepted.

Walking, trotting, skipping and other modes of bi-pedal movement will be allowed but no strollers, baby joggers, bikes, skates, hoverboards or pets will be permitted.

In addition to pie, the after-party will include pizza, beer and games.
