LINCOLN PARK — A new-construction single-family home at 1922 N. Dayton St. in Lincoln Park is listed for $4.3 million.

The Ballis Group with Coldwell Banker is selling the home built by Middlefork Development Group. Andrew Bowyer, president of the development group, said roughly 7,000-square-foot home has six full

"My favorite room in this house is the living room, for a number of reasons," Bowyer said. "This home is successful in creating a livable comfortable place in the front of the house.

"It's staged with four oversized chairs, but a small sofa could also fit there, and it gets phenomenal light with the large east-facing windows, Bowyer said. "The wood-burning fireplace adds charm. But there isn't excessive square footage in this living room — it's not unusable; it's intimate and cozy, and opens to the dining room and entry hall."

The kitchen has a butler's pantry, two Subzero 700 refrigerators, a Wolf gas cooktop stove with griddle, two Wolf 30-inch wall ovens, a Wolf microwave and warming drawer and two Bosch dishwashers that flank the sink. Pendant lighting hangs over the island, and at one end of the kitchen is a built-in glass-front cabinet with lighting inside.

The great room boasts a dedicated eating area with banquet and ample space in front of the TV or wood-burning fireplace. The room offers access to the outdoor terrace, which also has an outdoor wood-burning fireplace and a fire pit. There are also gas fireplaces in the master bedroom and in the lower level playroom.

Outside, the home has an upper and lower terrace, a roof deck on top of the garage, a top-floor balcony and a roof deck on the penthouse level. The rear terrace on the first level is some 900 square feet, and the garage roof deck is approximately 25 feet by 22 feet. The landscaped front yard covers roughly 500 square feet.

All the bathrooms are marble, have mosaic patterned floors, digital comfort lighting and Grohl fixtures. The master bathroom features a contemporary crystal pendant chandelier, dual vanities and plenty of space.

"The staircase stands out as a unique feature, and ascends all five floors," Bowyer said. "It curves in an elliptical shape with a mock balcony in the center of each floor to get a sense of the space."

The home also has a five-stop elevator.

It is steps from schools, restaurants, shops, boutiques, bars, coffee and donut shops, and public transportation.
