LINCOLN PARK — Police were called to Lincoln Park High School Thursday morning after school officials discovered threatening graffiti scrawled on a bathroom wall, authorities said.
In an email to parents, Principal Michael Boraz said authorities determined that the threat was not credible. He said the school would "continue to work with CPD during the investigation."
"Be assured that the safety of our students is our top concern, and all CPS and CPD safety procedures were followed regarding this situation," the email reads.
Boraz said Chicago Public Schools provided additional security Tuesday.
A spokesman for CPS would not specify what the graffiti message threatened.
