BRIDGEPORT — A building once home to Thirty3 Bar & Grill and Calabruzzi's is up for grabs.
A "FOR RENT" sign with the cell phone number of Maurizio Ursetta now hangs in the window at 3304 S. Halsted St.
Part owner of a company called iSmash LLC, Ursetta bought the building in December 2015.
The Bridgeport native said Thirty3 wasn't doing well when bar owners decided not to renew their lease on the property. In September 2013, after a stint as Calabruzzi’s, the family behind the neighborhood bar opened as Thirty3.
The storefront is a "turnkey" property, ready for someone to take over and run a restaurant or bar, Ursetta said.
A construction professional by day, Ursetta was the owner Zio’s Place, an Italian eatery at 3129 S. Morgan St. The restaurant closed in 2009.
