HYDE PARK — The Hyde Park Art Center will host a free screening of “Chicken with Plums” on Thursday.
The French film about a musician’s vow to die after his beloved violin is broken will start at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the art center, 5020 S. Cornell Ave.
The movie is part of a series of monthly free screenings sponsored by the University of Chicago Service League.
