CHICAGO — A Lincoln Square man pretended to be a Chicago Police officer and even had equipment and a uniform, according to police.
Charles Wade, 26, of the 2700 block of West Summerdale Avenue, pretended to be a Chicago Police officer in public, according to a Chicago Police news release. A witness told the police Wade had police equipment and a uniform.
Wade faces a charge of false impersonation of a police officer.
