CHICAGO — A "Saved By the Bell" parody bar/diner will be open June 1 in Wicker Park.

That's the latest information to come out about the highly anticipated pop-up, dubbed "Saved By the Max." The bar/diner will be open daily throughout June, but its location — said to be in the heart of Wicker Park — has yet to be revealed.

The diner is based on a spot frequented by students of fictional Bayside High School in the '80s sitcom "Saved By the Bell."

Though the location is still a secret, but organizers previously have confirmed it will NOT be in Emporium Arcade Bar, Antique Taco's 2nd floor events space or the new Whiskey Business — our top three guesses. As for hints, organizers have said it will be in "the heart" of Wicker Park and use the space's current liquor license.

The menu will include AC Sliders, Preppy BLT, Macaroni & Screech, Belding Fries, Miss Bliss Candied Bacon and a Lisa Turtle Milkshake. Drinks will be similarly "Bayside-inspired" and the organizers plan weekly events like trivia and karaoke, as well as daily costume contests.

Organizers promise "many photobooths" to document the details of the replica diner.

Information about reservations for the bar and diner is coming soon, according to a Facebook event. More than 5,000 people said they plan to visit "Saved By the Max," while another 21,000 are interested in going.
