PORTAGE PARK — Police will be on the lookout for drunken drivers in Portage Park this weekend.

Police will conduct a DUI Strike Force patrol from 7 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday near Irving Park Road and Austin Avenue, according to a statement from the Chicago Police Department.

Police will saturate the area to find drivers who are drunk, speeding or not wearing their seat belts.

During a similar effort in December, six people were arrested for drunken driving, seven cars were towed and 40 tickets were issued.
