6 People Nabbed for Drunken Driving During Jeff Park Crackdown, Police Say

JEFFERSON PARK — Six people were arrested for drunken driving during a weekend crackdown, police said Thursday.

Police from the Jefferson Park Police District conducted a DUI Strike Force patrol from 7 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday on the Far Northwest Side.

Ten people were cited for driving an unsafe vehicle, 11 were ticketed for not having proper insurance, 11 for not having their driver's licenses and 8 drivers were ticketed for traffic violations, police said.

Seven cars were towed, police said.
