HYDE PARK — Hotel developers will again come back to the neighborhood on Thursday to present plans for a boutique hotel.

The developers have been to the neighborhood several times refining plans for the 90-room hotel planned for 1401 E. 53rd St. and will return at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Hyatt Hotel, 5225 S. Harper Ave.

The developers are expected to present updates to the plans that incorporate comments from a December meeting, where parking concerns were largely alleviated and the design updated.

Construction is expected to start in the spring and employ 55 people in the hotel and associated restaurant and lounge on the first floor.
