LOGAN SQUARE — Maybe you've seen the giant crane near the intersection of Milwaukee and Fullerton avenues.

An anti-gentrification activist group launched a website this week to get its message out about the Twin Towers development and the "L" building, both of which are under construction.

The group behind luxelogan.com, We Are Logan Square (also known as Somos Logan Square), has been organizing against both of the luxury developments for about a year.

The new website comes off like an informational guide to the developments and includes information about what the developers and Ald. Proco Joe Moreno (1st) have said about the projects.

It also includes some comments from unnamed residents questioning the price of the rental units and comparing them to developments in Oakland and San Francisco, which they claim "opened the door to rampant real estate speculation and displaced thousands of long-term residents."

The end of the page urges readers to "fight displacement! No more luxury developments!" and includes a link to take action.
