CHICAGO — A Portage Park shooting left a 17-year-old injured on Sunday morning, police said.
At 3:28 a.m., the teen was in the 4500 block of North Lockwood Avenue when he was shot in his left leg in a possible drive-by, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The teen was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Tannehill said. Police did not say the extent of his injuries.
No one was in custody in the shooting.
