LINCOLN SQUARE — We know — your DVR is already overloaded with episodes of TV shows you don't have time to watch.
But if there's an emissions test in your future — which, by the way, the state won't remind you about — you're going to want to carve out a few seconds to catch up on a little "Queue Cam" viewing.
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency has set up video cameras at emissions testing stations that capture wait lines in real-time. Queue camera footage ranges from images of empty parking lots — i.e., no waiting — to auto lineups that stretch out of frame.
We're not going to lie, this "programming" is even less riveting than it sounds, but tuning in could mean the difference between wasting an entire afternoon at a test station or breezing through in minutes.
