WOODLAWN — A 36-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Woodlawn Tuesday afternoon, police said.

At 3:15 p.m., the man walking in the 6200 block of South Evans Avenue when someone walked up and shot him, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. He was hit the abdomen and leg and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
