LINCOLN PARK — Lincoln Elementary is hosting an open house for prospective parents and students next week.

The open house will be held Feb. 8 at Lincoln Park elementary school, 615 W. Kemper Place, beginning at 6:30 p.m., according to Ald. Michele Smith (43rd).

Eighth-grader ambassadors will lead 30-minute guided tours at 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Principal Mark Armendariz will address tour-goers at 7:15 p.m.

Those who attend should enter through door #14 in the school's new three-story, 19-classroom annex.

Since it was built in 1871, Lincoln has gotten three additions in 1894, 1939 and 2015, according to Smith.
