IRVING PARK— A 17-year-old was wounded in an Irving Park shooting Tuesday afternoon, police said.

At 4 p.m., the teen walked into First Community Medical Center and told police that he had been shot in the 3600 block of West Irving Park Road, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The teen, who is a documented gang member, gave police conflicting statements where he was shot, police said.

No one is in custody, Estrada said.
