HYDE PARK — Composer Mikel Patrick Avery will resume a year of weekly improvisations at the Bing Bookstore in Washington Park on Wednesday.
Every Wednesday at 7 p.m., Avery explores improvisation at the art bookstore opened by Theaster Gates at 307 E. Garfield Blvd.
Avery is noted for his drumming and composition.
The event is free and open to the public.
