CHICAGO — Heinz Ketchup is trying to move in on hot dogs, but Superdawg's not interested.
The ketchup conglomerate will air a Super Bowl ad that pushes for hot dog fans to accept ketchup, showing wiener dogs running through a field and leaping into the arms of people dressed as ketchup bottles.
Yes, it's just as magical as it sounds.
But Superdawg, one of the city's famous hot dog joints, isn't having it. Superdawg tweeted about the ad, using the hashtag #chicagostyle to remind people of the best way to have a hot dog: sans ketchup.
Sorry @HeinzKetchup_US, but we cannot support you on this one. You understand #chicagostyle https://t.co/M7QwW3ygVA

Heinz tried to win over Superdawg, but to no avail:
@Superdawg When it comes to great taste and adorable wiener dogs, we're just one big happy hot dog-loving family. #whycantwebefriends
