HYDE PARK — Jackie Chan’s Long Yun Kung Fu Troupe will make its second trip ever to the United States to perform at the Logan Center for the Arts.

The group, which combines kung fu with modern dance and ballet, will perform its new “11 Warriors” show at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 and Feb. 13 at the Logan Center, 915 E. 60th St.

The Beijing-based group has never before performed in the Midwest and will bring 11 performers for a show that mixes martial arts with folding fans, flag performances, sword performance and other elements. Although Chan started the troupe, he won't be making the trip.

Tickets are $35 for general admission, $25 for students, with VIP tickets available for $125 and preferred tickets for $65.

For tickets, visit the University of Chicago’s box office web site.

The group also will perform a free show at noon Feb. 8 at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St., for the city’s Chinese New Year celebrations.

Another free show is scheduled at noon on Feb. 21 at Navy Pier, 700 E. Grand Ave., for the Neighborhoods of the World series.
