Chicago — A 38-year-old man was shot Wednesday night in Humboldt Park, police said.
At 9:06 p.m., the man was driving when he noticed a car following him, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. He stopped at the mouth of an alley near the 1600 block of North Albany Avenue and someone in the other car fired at him multiple times.
The man was hit in the left hand and was taken to Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, Pacheco said. He was in good condition.
The man is a documented gang member, police said.
No one was in custody.
