RAGE President to Sit on Transformation of Civil Rights Activism Panel

CHICAGO — DePaul University's College of Law will present part two of its 18th annual program in commemoration of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.: "Naming Racial Violence and Demanding Institutional Change, A Two-Part Conversation" Wednesday.

The Resident Association of Greater Englewood's president Asiaha Butler is a panelist, along with Veronica Morris Moore, co-founder of Fearless Leading by Youth and Page May, a We Charge Genocide delegate, and member of the Black Youth Project 100. The title of the event is "From Bus Boycotts to Hashtags: Transforming Civil Rights Activism, a conversation with local activists." It'll talk place at DePaul University Loop Campus DePaul Center, 1 East Jackson Boulevard, Room 8005, from 4-5:30 p.m.

Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public but attendees are asked to RSVP to lawevents@depaul.edu or register online here.
