CHICAGO — Coldplay, which is headlining the Super Bowl halftime show next month, will play more football stadiums in an upcoming tour, including at Soldier Field this summer.
The band on Thursday morning announced a seven-stop stadium tour, including a July 23 show at Soldier Field.
Those on the Coldplay's mailing list will receive presale information Thursday, the band says. General tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday on Ticketmaster.
As of now, Coldplay is the only band on Soldier Field's 2016 schedule. The historic stadium and home of the Chicago Bears, 1410 Museum Campus Drive, will also host games for the Copa America soccer tournament in June.
