LINCOLN PARK — Crews replacing the valve on the main water line just south of the intersection of Clybourn and Cortland avenues expect work to last about a week.

Ald. Brian Hopkins (2nd) said the "much-needed project" will only affect one building at 1970 N. Clybourn Ave.

Hopkins said water shut be off there between Monday and Friday while city workers test sample water.

During construction, there will be road barricades and diversions, which will be removed by next Friday, Jan. 29, when the project is finished, he said.
