Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day with the Black Ensemble Theater

UPTOWN — The Black Ensemble Theater will host their 5th annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration Monday in Uptown.

From 6-7 p.m., the theater at 4450 N. Clark St. will host a reception. At 7 p.m., the program, which features performances from Yahdina Udeen, Oba William King, Jeronimo Speaks, Kelvin Roston Jr., Joel Hall Dancers, Melody Angel and Rueben Echoles, will begin, according to the African American Arts Alliance website.
