New Family Festival Launching Jan. 23 at Logan Center for the Arts

HYDE PARK — It’s all about the laughter at a new family festival at the Logan Center for the Arts on Jan. 23.

The Logan Center, 915 E. 60th St., will host the new laughter-themed Family Saturday Festival with music, art and dance from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 23.

Events include an Indian dance workshop for kids, a screening of films made by kids and a performance from the Hyde Park School of Dance.

The festival concludes with a dance party after a 2 p.m. performance of Barrel of Monkey’s variety show, “That’s Weird Grandma.”

Tickets are $5 and available online at the University of Chicago’s arts website.
