HYDE PARK — Employers will be looking to hire on Friday, but to get an interview, applicants will need to get some training by Wednesday.
The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership and the University of Chicago will host a job fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Washington Park Field House, 5531 S. Martin Luther King Drive.
But those who want to interview for one of 300 jobs on the spot on Friday will have to go to a workshop on interviewing, resumes or online applications by Wednesday.
The job fair is geared toward applicants between 18 and 24 years old who are not in school or are in school part time.
To sign up for a workshop, visit the job fair’s registration web site.
