LINCOLN PARK — After calling Armitage Avenue home for the last five years, The Green Goddess Boutique is packing up and moving elsewhere — possibly the northern suburbs — at the end of March, its owner said Tuesday.

Owner Elyce Rembos realized she doesn't need the 4,500 square feet that the boutique, 1009 W. Armitage Ave., offers, especially since she wants to sell less big furniture pieces moving forward, and more clothing, jewelry and accessories, which is the focus of her first location in suburban Hinsdale.

Rembos is eyeing new locations in the northern suburbs, including Highland Park, but she hasn't ruled out moving to another city location just yet.

"I love Lincoln Park. It's been great," she said.

Before moving out in March, the boutique is having a clearance sale offering up to 75 percent off store items, including display furniture like industrial shelving units and antique tables.

Rembos encourages customers to visit her online store or Hinsdale location until she finds a new home for her second location.
