HYDE PARK — It’s definitely a night for locals on Thursday when nine Chicago writers will read their work at 57th Street Books.
Readings start at 6:15 p.m. Thursday from members of the Indie City Writers group at the bookstore at 1301 E. 57th St.
The participating writers include Jennifer Bisbing, Tom Boyle, Marissa J. McCants, Daniel DeLeon, Wednesday Quansah, Melanie Holmes, M.L. Kennedy, K.B. Jensen and Harry Steven Lazerus.
The group organizes readings and workshops for South Side writers.
